Nannies and childcarers should be updating their paediatric first aid certificate every 3 years.

The course will cover First Aid Kits, Record Keeping, Hyperventilation, Poisoning, Seizures, Meningitis, Sickle Cell, Diabetes, Hypothermia/Hyperthermia, Shock, Burns, Foreign Bodies in: Eyes/Ears/Nose, Injuries to: Eyes/Head/Neck/Back, Fractures, Dislocations, Strains and Sprains, Bleeds, Electric Shock and Epi-pen training.

Also included is Defibrillator training. Using a Defibrillator, on any casualty over the age of one years old, will significantly improve their chance of survival.

Full Paediatric First Aid Blended Learning for Ofsted, CSSIW and Scottish requirement for Early Years.

Suitable for anyone working with children from birth to 8 years,
most popular with those working within Early Years & meets the full Ofsted/ EYFS guidelines.

This 12 hour course is full 1 day’s classroom theory and practical training, from 9.30am until 4.30 pm with our qualified and experienced Instructor. Plus, E-Learning module done on a computer, covering 19+ areas of content.
You must do this “blended E-Learning” to satisfy Ofsted’s requirements. You will be emailed all the information you need, to do this Blended E-Learning, when you have booked your course place.

Once completed, you will receive a certificate which is valid for 3 years.
